WORKSHOPS
If your hips and knees hurt, even the simplest movements become challenging. Learn ways to ease tension, improve range of motion, promote joint stability, and build strength safely in this unique MELT workshop. We will combine techniques from MELT Length to relax and release, with MELT Strength exercises to repattern and rebuild the way you move. This is very powerful combination because Length prepares your muscles to work more efficiently in the Strength portion of the workshop. All levels are welcome but you must be able to get up and down from the floor. Participants will receive a printout with instructions for home practice. Rollers and balls are provided for use during the workshop Space is limited so pre-registration is recommended. Please pay in advance at least 24 hours before the workshop. MELT on Pregnancy Calling all pregnant mommies! Want to learn how to keep your pregnancy aches and pains at bay? Learn how MELTing can keep you active, healthy and generally more sane throughout your pregnancy. Attendees will get a printout of exercises to take home.
MELT Your Core 4-Week Series MELT can help. MELT offers an easy way to access your deep core stabilizing systems, for better upright support, pain-free movement, and bonus.... a leaner middle! All are welcome, no matter what condition you think you are in. Participants will receive a printout with instructions for home practice. Rollers and balls are provided for use during the workshop. Participants will get a printed out "MELT Map" to take home with pictures and instructions. Space is limited so pre-registration is recommended. RECLAIM YOUR PELVIC FLOOR: An Afternoon Workshop for WomenDates TBA Do you have: -A baby belly you can't get rid of? -Chronic lower back pain? -Neck and shoulder tension? -Foot problems? -A prolapsed uterus? -Bladder problems or other organ dysfunctions? If you have any of these issues, then you might have a weak pelvic floor. The pelvic floor is a hammock-like group of muscles deep in the abdomen which supports your spine and organs. It is integral to maintaining a strong, healthy, balanced body and "core" stability. Poor posture, habitual patterns, abdominal surgery, pregnancy and childbirth can all strain your pelvic floor. Learn how to reconnect and re-engage these muscles using simple breathing exercises, balancing postures and challenging stability work on balls and rollers. This workshop combines yoga and a new mind-body technique called MELT. This workshop is geared towards women of all ages and physical abilities. Space is limited. Please email me to register!
